Happy Holidays!

Happy Holidays from Cape Town!

I am in South Africa for the holidays. It has been AMAZING! South Africa is really beautiful and feels very very developed and big compared to Nam. CT has 3.5 million people and Nam has 1.8 million...so it was a little overwhelming at first.

We had a little bit of a crazy trip actually arriving here but we got here safe and sound. I traveled down with a friend from PC and we have just been traveling around in the Cape. We went to Stellenbosch for a few days then came to CT for a couple, then to Simon's Town and now we are back in CT. CT is really crazy but fun.

Stellenbosch is absolutely beautiful and I think my favourite place so far. We traveled around to wineries, windowshopped and had a picnic on the rugby field at the university. It was a perfect way to spend the first few days of holiday and ease into S. Africa.

Simon's Town was also great...we went to a boulder beach and swam with African penguins that live there! It was awesome.

I am jumping on a bus Christmas Day (not the best way to spend the holiday...but it was half the price!) and going back to Nam. I will spend the next couple of days at training for our new vols (I also spent my first week of holiday there as well). Then my mom and sister come to visit!! I am soooo excited about that!

OK...my internet time is almost up. I will try to write a better post later in the holiday.

I hope your holiday is amazing! I miss you all a lot and you are always are in my thoughts.

Love you!
